Click the Settings icon on the dasshboard to customize various aspects of your Gitar experience.

Agent UX

You can control the default behavior of the Gitar agent like Opt-In/Opt-out of Automatic CI fixes on all PRs/MRs. This can be useful during rollout of Gitar across all your repos. You can get faimilar with how to work with the agent on code review interface and keep the mode that works best for how you work.

AI Rules

Gitar agent can be tailored to your setup and codebase by giving it rules and instructions. These will apply across all repositories Gitar is connected to. Gitar agent will also automatically pickup AI rules checked into your repositories - AGENTS.md etc.

Using AGENTS.md

Gitar agent uses AGENTS.md files in your repositories to customize it's behavior. The following files are recognized as AI rules sources

• AGENTS.md
• CLAUDE.md
• .cursorrules / Files in .cursor/rules/* directory
