Click the Settings icon on the dasshboard to customize various aspects of your Gitar experience.

Agent UX

You can control the default behavior of the Gitar agent like Opt-In/Opt-out of Automatic CI fixes on all PRs/MRs. This can be useful during rollout of Gitar across all your repos. You can get faimilar with how to work with the agent on code review interface and keep the mode that works best for how you work.

AI Rules

Gitar agent can be tailored to your setup and codebase by giving it rules and instructions. These will apply across all repositories Gitar is connected to. Gitar agent will also automatically pickup AI rules checked into your repositories - AGENTS.md etc.

Filters

Control which GitHub/GitLab users' PRs/MRs Gitar acts upon. You can specify a comma-separated list of allowed authors, and Gitar will only process PRs/MRs from those users. Leave the field empty to process all users.

This is useful for:

• Gradual Rollout: Start with a small group of users before enabling for the entire organization
• Team-based Access: Limit Gitar to specific teams or contributors
• Testing: Test Gitar's behavior with a subset of users before wider deployment
