Overview

Audit logs provide visibility into configuration changes made across your organization. Every change to organization, repository, and agent settings is tracked with user attribution and timestamps.
Audit logs are available on the Enterprise plan.

What Gets Logged

Gitar tracks the following types of events:

Viewing Audit Logs

To access your audit logs:
  1. Navigate to your organization settings in the Gitar dashboard.
  2. Select Audit Logs from the sidebar.
Each log entry includes:
  • Timestamp — When the change occurred
  • User — Who made the change
  • Event — What was changed
  • Details — The old and new values
You can narrow down audit log entries using the following filters:
  • Date range — View events within a specific time period
  • User — Filter by the user who performed the action
  • Event type — Filter by the category of change

Retention

Audit logs are retained for the duration of your Enterprise subscription.
